The curriculum is based on WT Olympic-style Taekwondo and integrates character education to support behavior expectations at home, in school, and in the community.

Our Private Classes offer students a unique opportunity to receive one-on-one instruction tailored specifically to their needs, goals, and pace. Whether a student is new to Taekwondo and wants to build confidence before joining a group class, or an experienced athlete aiming to refine specific skills, private sessions provide a focused and flexible learning environment.

These sessions are ideal for:

  • Beginners who prefer a more personalized introduction to our programs.

  • Students who want extra support in mastering techniques, patterns, or sparring strategies.

  • Athletes preparing for belt tests or competitions.

  • Individuals seeking a deeper level of physical conditioning or mindset coaching.

Private classes are fully customizable and scheduled based on student availability and instructor fit. Our experienced instructors work closely with each student to identify strengths, address challenges, and build a training plan that promotes growth and success.

Private Classes are available on Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM only.

Each one-on-one session offers a full hour of personalized instruction tailored to the student’s needs—whether it’s technical polishing, mindset coaching, or preparing for belt tests or competitions.

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the programs, classes, and related events and activities offered by PARAGON MARTIAL ARTS & FITNESS (“Paragon Martial Arts”), the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in martial arts and physical training involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the potential for serious injury, permanent disability, paralysis, and death. While safety rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce these risks, I fully recognize that such risks do exist.

2. Voluntary Participation and Acknowledgment of Risk

I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of Paragon Martial Arts or others, and I assume full responsibility for my participation.

3. Compliance with Safety Guidelines

I agree to comply with all stated and customary terms, conditions, and safety instructions. If I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my participation, I will remove myself from the activity and promptly inform a staff member or instructor.

4. Release and Waiver of Liability

I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release and hold harmless Paragon Martial Arts, including its owners, instructors, staff, employees, independent contractors, volunteers, guests, and fellow students (“Paragon Martial Arts and its Agents”), from any and all claims, liabilities, injuries, disabilities, death, or damages to person or property, whether arising from negligence or otherwise. I further agree to waive and relinquish any right to bring legal action against Paragon Martial Arts and its agents in connection with my participation.

5. Additional Acknowledgment for ONLINE CLASSES

If participating in online or virtual classes, I understand and agree to the following:

a. Supervision: A responsible adult will be present in the home to supervise my child during all online sessions.

b. Safe Environment: I will ensure that the training area at home is free from hazards (e.g., loose carpets, sharp objects, obstacles), and family members will remain clear of the space during class.

c. Health and Safety: My child will not participate if they are injured, ill, or otherwise unfit for physical activity.

d. Surface Acknowledgment: I understand that home flooring may not be suitable for extended physical activity, and I will monitor for any signs of fatigue or discomfort and take appropriate breaks.

6. Training Conduct and Rules

I understand that

a. All in-person and online activities, including classes, practice sessions, seminars, and tournaments, are conducted with reasonable care to minimize the risk of injury.

b. Students must adhere to the rules and instructions provided by Paragon Martial Arts.

c. No student may engage in free sparring without prior approval from the instructor(s).

d. Physical contact during free sparring is not allowed unless specifically authorized and supervised.

I agree to hold Paragon Martial Arts and its agents free and harmless from any liability arising from participation in these activities.

7. FOR PARTICIPANTS OF MINORITY AGE (Under Age 19)

As the parent or legal guardian of a minor participant, I hereby consent to their participation and agree to the terms of this waiver on their behalf. I release and agree to indemnify Paragon Martial Arts and its agents from any and all liabilities resulting from my child’s participation in its programs.

8. PHOTO & MEDIA RELEASE

I grant permission to Paragon Martial Arts, its representatives, and employees to take photographs and videos of me and/or my child in connection with its programs and activities. I authorize the use of such media—with or without names—for lawful purposes, including promotional materials, advertisements, publications, and online content.

I understand that these images and recordings are the property of Paragon Martial Arts. I will not receive compensation for the use of such media. Paragon Martial Arts may use the content to promote its programs at its sole discretion

9. Acknowledgment and Acceptance

I HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT. I UNDERSTAND THAT BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT, I AM WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE. I SIGN THIS AGREEMENT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.
